**Role Purpose**
As a member of Roche Diagnostics Partnering, you will report to the Alliance & Ecosystem
Management Chapter Lead and will be critical to the effective management of alliances, strategic partnerships and business ecosystems.
In addition you will work on post-merger integration in coordination with the Diagnostics
Partnering Lead, M&A Integration.
This position offers unique opportunities to work across these various types of partnerships depending on abilities, experience, interests and business needs. Strategic Alliances include bilateral and multiparty partnerships between parties with complementary assets providing increased value for the parties and their shared customers. Ecosystems include multiparty relationships under scalable contractual frameworks including Business Ecosystems that are expected to drive new business models for Roche Diagnostics. Post-merger integration includes establishing and implementing respective integration plans for M&A projects, in coordination with the Diagnostics Partnering Lead, M&A Integration.
In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring the business nurtures its networks and realizes the value from its partnering activities, enabling key aspects of Diagnostics Partnering strategy, and ultimately contributing to the overall Roche Diagnostics vision.

- Contribute to an industry leading group of professionals driving an integrative, strategic view to gain speed in value growth from ongoing partnering, integration activities and to identify new opportunities from existing relationships
- Bring a collaborative and growth mindset to support high performing partnerships and transform relationships appropriately to grow value and manage risk
- Represent the Partnering organization externally, as a partner-of-choice, committed to long-term value creation, in order to attract the best partners to achieve our business objectives
- Maintain and develop all critical internal interfaces relevant to your alliances and ecosystems, including legal, finance, human resources (P&C), operations, regulatory, supply chain, R&D, medical affairs, software development, commercial, and global affiliates
**Support the development of other Chapters members as appropriate**
- Depending on level of experience and focus area of expertise, you will be expected to support the overall development of Chapter capabilities via on-the-job interactions with fellow Chapter members
**Contribute to building, establishing and maintaining fit-for-purpose Alliance and**
**Ecosystem Management practices and systems**
- Drive the adoption, establishment and improvement of fit-for-purpose end-to-end practices related to the management of single and multi-party relationships
- Design, contractual framing and management of scalable Business Ecosystems
- Maintain systems to deliver on our Alliance and Ecosystem Management promise of driving an integrated view of our partnerships across DIA and accelerating time to value delivery
**What else do you have in your toolbox**:
- Advanced degree in science, engineering, business, legal or a related field.
- 5-10+ years of experience in Alliance Management
- Demonstrated capability in: process, program and change management, negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building, effective communication and presentation, contract management, risk management and mitigation, systems and strategic thinking, timely decision making and governance practices, partnering health checks, business and innovation management.
- Evidence of strong strategic thinking, communication, planning and organizational skills required, e.g., through experience successfully leading strategic initiatives
- Ensures existing and emerging conflicts are identified and responsible for negotiating and initiating conflict resolution for the benefit of the alliance
- Good understanding of financial, contractual and commercial disciplines
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly and incorporate into value generating options
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and software business models
- Proven ability to lead and operate effectively at senior management levels, including influencing at executive level
