**Business Designer**

Over the past 100 years, Dentsply Sirona has developed an impressive legacy of innovation, developing meaningful new products and dental care improvements primarily in a pipeline model. In a rapidly changing technological world, we now prepare to go beyond our traditional definition of innovation and look at how we can change the dental experience - for the patient, the clinician, and treatment service providers all aligned with common goals on one platform. In the process of optimizing our organization with the goal of reaching beyond the horizons of today’s digital dental procedures, we are looking for a leader in Business Design to act as trailblazer into new business models and service offerings. With your contribution, we can form the offering of the world’s largest dental solutions company into tomorrow’s leading digital platform.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to identification of “white spots” in Clinical Application Suite portfolio based on market feedback and own experience.
- Evaluate potential new developments to support innovation selection and portfolio prioritization.
- Live start-up spirit within a corporate matrix, pinpointing business service opportunities, formulating market-relevant hypothesis and selling these within the organization.
- Co-develop market-centric, value-creating offerings in an agile and fast-paced manner from initial problem statement towards end-results ready for market launch
- Drive strategic orientation, mid-term market positioning and initial roadmap of a succession of service ideas. Transition market-ready service offering into established service lines (transfer into operational role subsequently is also a possibility)
- Collaborate with R&D and other internal stakeholders on product prototype development
- Conduct business modeling and planning for new offerings, including financial and economic analysis; contribute to Application Suite’s overarching business plan
- Market validation in customer co-creation setting

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Business designer: entrepreneur with visionary and project management skills to orchestrate several contributors to deliver digital service innovations
- 3-7 years track record in driving digital service innovation, esp. SaaS business models, in a corporate or startup context
- Experience in B2B industry, understanding of B2C dynamics in a small business environment
- University degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or similar
- Strong know-how in digital health (med tech, life sciences, or similar)
- Solid understanding of design thinking and agile methodologies such as:

- Archetypes & persona research and creation
- As-Is & To-Be User Journeys creation
- Service Blueprint creation
- Concept testing (qualitative interviews and smoke screen tests)
- Business Model Canvas setup and basic business case validation
- Excellent quantitative skillset especially related to profit-loss analysis and value proposition verification
- Entrepreneurial mindset, superior problem solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong tenacity for voice-of-customer matters
- Understanding of dental industry, existing network with potential customers are advantageous.
- Business-fluent English, additional languages are a plus.
