About the team you are joining

The Industry Data and Analytics team holds a portfolio of Cost Benchmark programs for the travel industry, including Airline Cost Management Program (ACMG) and Airline Retailing Cost Benchmarks. These are key services supporting airline operations and sales acquisition activities. In addition, ACMG holds value-added services tailored to non-airline clients including financial and consulting institutions. The Data Analytics responsibilities have expanded considerably in the last year. Cost efficiencies continue to drive airline strategies, and IATA has been at the front on benchmarking for the industry with ACMG. The new IATA Airline Retailing Cost Benchmarks - showcasing sales acquisition cost and performance indicators on distribution and payment activities - supports airlines articulating cost benefits of the retailing transformation.

What your day would be like

You will report to the Head Data and Analytics and you will be responsible for the operations of ACMG and Airline Retailing Costs Benchmarks, including design, data collection, reporting and platform activities, with a strong focus on IATA data governance and legal compliance. You will also participate on initiatives for platform developments and be a member of the programs of work derived from the Digital Transformation Advisory Council. Specifically, you will:

- Organize ACMG and Airline Retailing Cost Benchmarks activities to increase global coverage of the airline community.
- Lead on data collection, processing and release of indicators following program data policies.
- Act as ACMG BI tool Administrator, manage user access to dashboards and related analytical tools. Be the point of contact with vendors and partners.
- Maintain ACMG data catalogue, statistics and associated reporting.
- Produce customized reporting and organize annual events for cost recovery.
- Participate in the development of the ACMG and Airline Retailing Cost Benchmarks strategy and product development, technical specifications and quality standards.
- Provide technical input on business cases to fund the development of tools/platforms as programs reach maturity.
- Coordinate the Data Analytics Task Force and related DTAC activities.
- Act as a Data SME in the Digital Transformation team.

We would love to hear from you if

University degree in business analytics, finance or IT.
At least 5 years’ experience in data & analytics with exposure to project management
Experience with design, development and launch of analytical/BI services
Good understanding of the overall airline business.

Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or AWS Certified Data Analytics certification are a plus.
Knowledge of SQL, Phyton, Power BI, database administration and macro programming are a plus.

Travel Required: Y, 10%
