Data Privacy & Protection Manager - Technology Risk Governance
- This role is for you if you want impactful responsibilities in a regulated professional services firm's digital transformation. Manage Data Privacy & Protection for technology onboarding, compliance, and evaluate new solutions. Design policies, develop the AI Risk Framework, and contribute to firm-wide innovation initiatives.**Zurich**

Your contribution to KPMG
Ensure technology onboarding complies with data protection provisions and policies for personal and restricted data
Perform reviews and monitoring throughout the engagement lifecycle, including Privacy Impact Assessments and Inter-Firm Data Transfer Agreements
Collaborate with the National Security Officer and DPO to meet KPMG Global Quality & Risk Management, Technology & Information Protection requirements in Data Privacy & Protection
Provide advice to engagement teams and Digital Business Technology Team on data privacy requirements for technology-enabled offerings
Design data privacy guidance aligned with regulatory developments and Firm Technology Strategy
Contribute to the AI Risk Framework in line with the KPMG Global Trusted AI roadmap
Inform and advise controllers, processors, and employees on their data processing obligations
Evaluate risks associated with processing operations, considering nature, scope, context, and purposes
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including DPO and Legal Counsels.
Work with the KPMG Alliance Team to assess data processing aspects in technology-related partnerships
Collaborate within the KPMG Global Network to exchange best practices

Fast learner, critical thinker, and diplomatic
Higher education degree and additional certification in data privacy, law, technology law, cybersecurity, or data management
In-depth knowledge/practice with Data Privacy and Protection regulations, or a similar background with a strong interest in developing DP skills
Fluent in English and German
Nice to have or a plus:
- Experience in technology contracting, contract negotiations, and SaaS agreements
Background in legal, IT/Technical, compliance, or risk management
Interest/experience in the regulatory environment for Machine Learning/LLM/AI solutions
