The Manufacturing Excellence department combines Cell banking, scale-up, tech transfer and GMP manufacturing expertise for a fast and agile product development. Our mission is to translate and scale-up our processes in development into highly automatized manufacturing processes delivering safe and efficacious Drug to patients. It also centralizes all GDSD GMP activities and it's the Guardian of our cell banks. The Manufacturing Systems expert is responsible to provide expertise during design, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of manufacturing systems in his/Her field of expertise. He/She will be the process owner and key user for those systems and future ones. He/She will support the operational teams and will be the preferred contact person for any systems matter for the GDSD Manufacturing Excellence department. He/She will establish and maintain strong connection with BDC Digital team.

**Key Accountabilities
- Ensure design, deployment, maintenance and improvement of manufacturing systems e.g. MES, DeltaV, Discoverant, Osi PI
- Ensure End user training prior Go-Live and future training for new versions/changes
- Ensure frontline support to operations
- Ensure preparation/maintenance of systems procedures and reports needed for large scale manufacturing activities in his/her field of competence
- Contribute to qualification activities in collaboration with GDSD ME and other stake holders
- Initiate and contribute to deviation/investigations in his/her field of competence
- Initiate and contribute to CAPA definition and implementation in his/her field of competence
- Initiate and contribute to CCPs in his/her field of competence

**Competencies**
- Master's degree of Science or Engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Excellent knowledge of PAS-X V3
- Copes well with regularly occurring demanding situations (e.g., deadlines, or conflicting interests)
- Fluent in English and intermediate level in French
