Since 1998 Dyson has been in the Swiss market. Over 50 people are responsible for the marketing and selling of all our Dyson products.
**About the role**:
The Category Executive is responsible for all marketing channels covering the Swiss market for the Professional (B2B) function. You will work with the Head of Professional and Head of Marketing to create and deliver the Swiss marketing strategy to sell our technology into businesses with a particular focus on supporting the sales team through marketing campaigns, content and lead generation.
The role requires an individual that is marketing minded and sales focused. This role will have a particular focus on all B2B marketing and lead generation, promotion and creative activities. You must be confident in developing and maintaining strong working relationships both internally with the wider Dyson marketing team but also with external customers and partners.
- Support the annual strategic planning process by delivering insight, new ideas and an understanding of the latest digital technologies in order make recommendations about how they can deliver improved business performance.
- This will include increasing sales the Airblade hand dryer for washrooms, as well as sales of our consumer technology categories into businesses.
- Support the annual budgeting process through accurately forecasting marketing expenditure required to turn plan into action.
- Collaborate and engage with the local and Global commercial teams (Professional & Consumer) and also other Dyson markets on best practices and ways of working to drive efficiency and always ensuring the Swiss market agenda is heard and priorities addressed.
- Create and execute marketing campaigns across all channels to raise awareness and advocacy for the Dyson Professional portfolio of products amongst a wide range of B2B decision makers across all sectors. This will include the marketing of our consumer technology into businesses.
- Gather and lead insight delivery on relevant customer segments and sectors to influence and inform the formulation of compelling campaign materials.
- Develop marketing plans together with our distributor partners and support them with assets.
- Strategically support Sales Managers to deliver compelling and exciting lead generating Marketing initiatives
- Ensure that all creative content across all channels is in line with the Dyson brand.
- Support the sales teams with customer meetings, demonstrating capability and influence in these forums
- Set and execute joint plans across all channel partners as well as developing Sector based plans.
- Carrying out competition, trend and market analysis
**About you**:
- Ideally educated to degree level
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Marketing, Category or Product management
- Passionate about customers and opportunities to drive clearer communication that drive conversion
- You are a natural problem solver, have strong organizational skills and a hands-on mentality. You are target-oriented and proactive.
- An engaged, creative, quick thinking and alert person with the potential to generate and stimulate ideas and opportunities
- Proven ability to juggle a large workload, set appropriate priorities and someone who is focused on delivering to plan
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Fluency in German & English. French also a plus.
