Banking Relations & Custody Network - Network Manager

Working in a team of three, you will help to manage the commercial, contractual, strategic, operational and administrative parts of the Bank’s custody and cash correspondent’s network. Our principal network cover 57 markets serviced by 17 custody relationships; and 30 currencies serviced by 18 cash correspondent relationships.

YOUR MISSION:
- Ensuring the efficiency of the network-
- Assessing and renegotiating the pricing- Assisting with the due diligence process and ongoing monitoring of custodians and cash correspondents- Analysis and coordination of appropriate account set ups for clients taking into consideration regulatory, tax and compliance requirements- Liaison between operational teams and counterparties for escalated issues- Liaison with counterparties for strategic, regulatory, operational and administrative issues- Liaison with clients to understand and anticipate their needs- Liaison with other teams (operations, trading, tax, treasury, payments, risk management, and others) to ensure good understanding of the overall relationship and volumes with our counterparties.- New markets - preparing analysis reports, internal coordination with all stakeholders and liaison with the custodian to open the market.- Market understanding and monitoring: ensure that appropriate set-up is implemented, analyze market updates and activate prompt and appropriate action.- Preparing and participating in meetings and calls with our counterparties.- Maintenance of the Banking Relations & Custody Network database

YOUR PROFILE:
- Advanced level of education- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the banking environment- Experience in an operational banking environment an asset- Direct experience of Network Management an asset- Able and willing to work in a fast-paced, pressured and demanding environment- Diligent, autonomous, multitasking and having the ability to prioritize your workload- Strong organizational and communication skills- Excellent presentation, ease and interest in customer contacts- Fluent (both oral and written) in English; French, German and other language an asset- Residence in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
