This position is part of the Centre for Industry Transformation (CIT). The CIT provides a platform to the world’s leading industry communities to shape the Industry Agenda and advance public-private cooperation.

The Project Lead will drive the Global Coalition for Digital Safety, a global platform for private-public cooperation to advance users safety online and tackle harmful content, and work on other content policy areas. He/she will manage a purpose-driven community, engaging with leaders of the foremost industry players in the tech sector, safety tech companies, governments and regulators, academia and civil society organizations. The Project Lead will drive forward project deliverables, advancing on content development and coordinating activities across workstreams,

The Lead will work closely with the Media, Entertainment & Sport Platform and Industry Head to support strategy and operations for the overall platform.. The Project Lead will facilitate engagement across the Forum's existing global communities and drive forward research and cutting-edge content development..

Reporting lines and interactions

The Project Lead will report to the Head of Media, Entertainment and Sport Platform. The role will also work with key stakeholders across the Forum, including and other platform heads and leads, as well as teams focusing on partner development and government and public engagement. Externally, the Project Lead will work closely with a broad range of constituents, including businesses, governments, social enterprises and international organisations.

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead overall content development for media, entertainment and sport platform related policy such as digital safety, privacy, competition, data policy- Lead Global Digital Safety Coalition meetings and drive forward Coalition community management, keeping a healthy balance of members across civil society, government, business, and academia engaged in the work- Drive forward Coalition deliverables, including but not limited to policy papers, frameworks, toolkits, principles, standards, and measures to improve the state of digital safety, working closely with experts and Coalition members to produce high quality outputs in a timely manner- Stay abreast of current trends, policies, legislation, and platforms’ trust and safety practices related to online safety; possess a strong understanding of the latest thinking when it comes to adjacent areas including privacy, competition, data policy, cybersecurity, and other such areas- On an ongoing basis, re-evaluate the issue(s) and policy-related questions to be investigated on Digital Safety, identify clear opportunities for impact, set the goals for the project, and establish clear evaluation criteria to ensure relevance of the Coalition’s work.- Scan the global horizon for existing, high quality initiatives and projects on digital safety, that can be affiliated and scaled through the Forum’s network.- Drive effective project delivery, integration, and coordination, through a highly collaborative approach and effective resourcing, project and process management, communication, and reporting- Manage event planning for Forum meetings and regional events, as well as external workshops and partner meetings; develop programming from ideation through to execution on topics of Digital Safety at Forum events, such as the- Annual Meeting

Qualifications and Skills- Masters (or higher) degree in Management, Technology, Cybersecurity, Public Policy, Communication or similar fields- 10+ years of experience in private or public sector, including working on or consulting on relevant trust and safety, cybersecurity, content governance, technology policy, or other related fields- Deep knowledge of the technology and media ecosystem, including key governing bodies, decision makers, and scholars- Ability to design and drive medium to large-scale project design and delivery- Experience working on international coalitions and alliances- Successful experience in engaging global leaders from the private and/or public sector- Proven track record on thought leadership regarding content moderation, platform governance, technology and media policy development, including published articles, speeches/presentations in international forums, and conference participation- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate high performing, dispersed teams through volatility, uncertainty, complexity, risk and ambiguity- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills- Excellent ve
