- Education Required: Associate/2-year Diploma
- Minimum Teaching Experience: 5 years of teaching experience
- Required Certificates:
- Teaching Credential/License- Qualifications that specifically focus on working with students with Special Educational Needs.
- Fluent English speaker; a working knowledge of French or willingness to learn
- Minimum 5 years experience working with students in a Learning Support environment.
- Experience in IBO Middle Years, Diploma, and Career Programmes an advantage.
- Resourceful and adaptable, enabling a variety of approaches to enable student-centered solutions.
- Excellent ICT and administrative skills, ideally Google level 1 certified

To complete our team, we are looking for a:
Learning Support Teacher

Full-time 40 hours

**Responsibilities**:
Seeking a support teacher with a demonstrated history of achieving high standards in schools, successfully implementing and supporting changes, and providing guidance and leadership to students and educators in the field of specialized support.
With a focus on inclusivity and empowerment, you will be a committed educator who possesses a clear vision for supporting students in an inclusive setting. Additionally, you will be able to guide colleagues in ensuring equal access to the curriculum, irrespective of cognitive abilities.
You will get the opportunity to observe and assess students' performance with diverse requirements, such as those with difficulties in expressive and receptive language, dyslexia, written language impairment, ADHD, ASD, and giftedness.

Having the ability to help MYP and DP Mathematics and Sciences would be highly advantageous along with experience working with children aged 11-18.
The department prioritizes the acquisition of skills over the teaching of content. Therefore, having the knowledge and experience to design and implement skills-based intervention programs would be highly beneficial, including working in small group settings and co-teaching.
