**Job Description Summary**:
As an Account Manager, you are responsible for the successful sale of IDS product solutions within the framework of the set goals and strategies. You define and implement customer projects according to the agreed marketing and sales concepts. You expand the core business and open up new business opportunities, here you analyze market developments and competitive activities. You document your sales with the help of the existing data systems. You create a good network in the field of clinics, industry and dealers.

Your role also include:

- Carrying out product training on the wards for the purpose of advertising and to support users when introducing new products
- Provision of services in the field of customized solutions, standards of care and process optimization,
- Development and implementation of concepts for the optimal placement of our products in the value chain of our customers,
- Receipt and processing of customer complaints
- Active participation in and implementation of information events, exhibitions and workshops,
- Selective support of complaint management,
- Close and coordinated cooperation with colleagues from sales, product management and customer service,
- Efficient use of PC and communication media,

**About You**:
Ideally, you have at least two years of experience in sales of medical technology or diagnostic products in hospitals with a proven track record. You also have a degree in biology, biotechnology, medical technology or comparable scientific background.

You also bring:

- Strong sales mind and passion for consulting and sales
- Good networker who loves building bridges
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in conducting training activities
- Experience in molecular biology/microbiology would be an advantage
- High willingness to perform
- Demonstrable routine in dealing with PCs and common IT programs
- Willingness to travel extensively (4 days in the field, 1 day in the home office)
- Good knowledge of German in speaking and writing
- Business fluent language skills in French, English and German
