This position will globally design and implement the IT framework for Enterprise Solution Systems. You will design solutions according business requirements and in line with IT Security, GMP and IT policies and you will manage the external outsourcing providers to guarantee stable operation of Solutions.

Key responsibilities:

- Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capability
- Accountability for delivery of Project work according to the overall standards and concepts
- Technology scouting and run proof of concepts / Propose new solutions, liaise with vendors and define global IT infrastructure standards in storage, backup and laboratory software. Actively participate in global IT Infrastructure Architecture
- Resolution of critical incidents and problems
- Ensure Disaster/Recovery and maintain security of systems and unauthorized access to systems
- Ensure that systems are implemented and documented in compliance with Lonza’s standards

Key requirements:

- Bachelors/ Masters degree in Science/ Engineering/ Operations/ IT
- Advanced years of experience within the IT infrastructure (backup technology, main operating IT Systems, Virtualisation, network zoning)
- English and German fluent
- GMP Knowhow is beneficial
