Das Institut für Molekulare und Klinische Ophthalmologie Basel (IOB) sucht per sofort oder nach Vereinbarung eine/n qualifizierte/n und motivierte/n Facility Manager zur Unterstützung des Scientific Operations Teams. IOB ist ein mit der Universität Basel assoziiertes Forschungsinstitut, das Grundlagen
- und klinische Forschung im Bereich der Ophthalmologie verbindet. Seine Mission besteht darin, Innovationen zum besseren Verständnis des Sehens und seiner Krankheiten voranzutreiben und neue Therapien für Sehverlust zu entwickeln
**Ihre Aufgaben**
In dieser Funktion organisieren, begleiten und unterstützen Sie alle Aktivitiäten im Zusammenhang mit dem Gebäude und stellen eine ausgezeichnete Infrastruktur sicher, die gut unterhalten, sicher und funktionstüchtig ist. Sie arbeiten eng mit unserem Health and Safety Officer, der IT-Abteilung, sowie anderen Stellen innerhalb unserer Scientific Operations zusammen. Die Aufgabe umfasst insbesondere:
- Betriebskontrolle sämtlicher Anlagen der Haustechnik
- Behebung von Störungen sowie Durchführung diverser kleinerer Reparaturen und die Betreuung von externen Dienstleistern
- Erarbeiten von praktikablen Lösungen für Anforderungen der Forschungsgruppen und technischen Plattformen
- Unterstützung bei der Planung und dem Unterhalt der Grundversorgung, der Logistik, dem Abfallmanagement, dem Parkplatzmanagement und der Postverteilung
- Planung und Durchführung von Projekten im Zusammenhang mit Veranstaltungen und der Einrichtung neuer Laborräume
- Unterstützung bei der Durchführung von Umzügen in neue Laborräumlichkeiten
- Unterstützung bei der Berichterstattung und Entscheidungsfindung in Bezug auf Budgetierung, Betrieb, Energieverbrauch und zukünftige Infrastrukturinvestitionen
**Ihr Profil**
- Abgeschlossene handwerkliche Lehre und mind. 3 Jahre ausgewiesene Erfahrung im Bereich Facility Management
- Sicheres Auftreten mit guten Umgangsformen und einer ausgezeichneten Kundenorientierung
- Handlungs
- und Lösungsorientiertes Arbeiten im Team
- Erfahrung im Life Science Bereich und/oder einem Laborgebäude von Vorteil
- Erfahrung als Projekt-Manager und/oder dem Management von externen Dienstleistern von Vorteil
- Fliessend Englisch in Wort und Schrift
- Bereitschaft für gelegentliche Piketteinsätze
