For IbexTM Solutions, our recently launched unique biological manufacturing and development concept in Visp, Switzerland, we have multiple openings. We are looking for a Laboratory technician (M/F/d) in Pilot Upstream team at the Visp site. In this role, you will work hands-on in our state-of-the art laboratory together with an international and cross-functional team aiming to produce pilot batches for technology transfer to manufacturing and production of toxicological grade material of novel biotherapeutics.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute and document experimental lab work of project-specific upstream pilot activities according to defined process description for the following process steps:
- Set-up of single-use bioreactors
- Seed train expansion and bioreactor monitoring
- Media and buffer preparations
- Maintain material stocks level in the laboratory
- Provide support for regular cleaning and maintenance of the equipment
Key requirements:
- Laboratory technician degree or comparable qualification
- 1-2 years of industry experience in the area of upstream biotechnology
- Good knowledge of English is required and German basics
