**Electronics Technician 80-100% (apprentice graduates only)**:

For this position you must be an apprentice graduate from Switzerland. In this position you will be part of the Control Hardware R&D Team and report to the R&D Team Leader. You will belong to the division System Drives and your work location will be Turgi.

**Your responsibilities**:

- PCB layout design, electrical design and wiring of auxiliary lab equipment and devices per the requirements of R&D engineers; including PCB assemblies and enclosures, hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) simulators, emulators, and table models
- Independently conducting PCBA verification testing in the lab, e.g. climatic, EMC and vibration testing
- Supporting R&D engineers with purchasing, supplier communication, component sourcing and library maintenance
- Responsible for low-voltage lab equipment, maintenance, and general lab orderliness

**Your background**:

- Completed apprenticeship as Automatiker/in EFZ or Elektroniker/in EFZ
- Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in PCB layout design, assembly, and low-voltage cabinet wiring
- High motivation and engagement to build a career with ABB
- Fluent in German and English
