Your role and responsibilities
Do you have a passion for rocking the world of drive systems and want to help us modernize mobility? Is your heart set on testing and power electronics? Then join our motivated team, responsible for the design and testing of converters in customer projects. Together, we want to grow, learn from experiences, and celebrate successes. Show good self-confidence by challenging and supporting yourself and those around you. Your tasks in detail includes:
• Your focus is on testing converters of the latest generations in the power range from several 100kW to several MW according to international standards in our power laboratory.
• You take full responsibility for the tests, from planning through execution to documentation and evaluation.
• Commissioning of software and ensuring full functionality in the lab in close collaboration with experienced HW and SW engineers.
• Training younger colleagues in the field of testing converters.
• Offering support in the transfer of converters to series testing
• Actively developing testing activities and corresponding know-how in engineering (e.g. automation, templates)
- Technician HF or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on power electronics.
- 2 years of experience in testing converters or similar systems.
- Knowledge and experience in test systems, equipment, and infrastructure in the field of validation and qualification of power electronic systems (drive systems advantageous).
- Team player without fear of contact and an "easy to work with" attitude.
- Technical challenges motivate you and high interest in testing converters.
- Strong communication skills in English and German or a strong willingness to learn German quickly.
- You hold the relevant permit to work in Switzerland
