**What it's about**

We are looking for an experienced Trader to complement our Execution Desk in Zug and support us on an exciting transformational journey as we scale for growth. The Trader will report directly to the Global Head Execution Desk.

**Main responsibilities**
- Executes FX, Equity and Money Market transactions with external counterparties on behalf of Partners Group
- Successfully contributes to team projects and initiatives, recognizes risks and detects operational escalation needs in his/her area of responsibility
- Handles all aspects of a defined task portfolio with no supervision and actively implements ideas improving the execution quality
- Implements process changes to the desks catalogue
- Is reliable and executes error-free and in high quality
- Fully understands and delivers on deadlines relating to the desks service catalogue Is executing trades and creates value for clients and the firm
- Has proven knowledge on execution-related systems & tools and fully understands all traded asset classes
- Leverages and enlarges a well-established network to successfully source value-add initiatives and is in constant dialogue with external trading counterparties to remain on top of news, markets, industry updates and technical developments
- Is out-of-office deputy for other team members to cover trading activities independently
- Works as a first contact point for internal or external requests and can reply independently

**What we expect**
- 5+ years of relevant experience preferably in a buy-side execution trading or sell-side global markets trading role
- Well educated Trader who demonstrates strong understanding of Financial Markets & Treasury products and their trading life cycles
- Strong work ethics and ability to risk manage across multiple products
- Ability to make quick decisions and to work under pressure with a high sense of responsibility
- Strong team player & excellent communicator with a high degree of personal commitment and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in English, German is an asset
