As part of our Group Communication team, we are looking for a Head of Sustainability and Innovation Communications. In this exciting role you can make an impact on our Sustainability and Innovation journey with contributions such as:
- Engage with business partners across sustainability and innovation to lead proactive communications positioning plan
- Design and execute proactive communication plans to position Holcim as leader in innovative and sustainable building solutions cutting across all communications competencies from media and digital channels to public affairs and employee engagement
- Engage, mobilize, empower and coach network of communications contributors, such as the Sustainability department, Innovation Center, the Digital MaQer and Plants of Tomorrow teams
- Strengthen Holcim‘s credentials and reputation as global leader in innovative and sustainable building solutions with clear and value-adding communications and manage key sensitive issues in sustainability and innovation space as needed
- Shape the perception of the company through signature stories: compelling and authentic, that support the strategic narratives with specific proof points
- Collaborate with all communications competency leaders to build traction in their channels and programs: media relations, digital communications, public affairs, issues and crisis communications, employee engagement.

Education/Qualifications:
- Degree / MBA equivalent in journalism, PR, communications or related fields
**Experience**:
- 7 years experience in a communication role ideally with a focus on sustainability and innovation, content creation and development within a large organization and/or online media outlet
- Experience with managing end-to-end content development, deployment, and measurement
Knowledge & Skills:
This job requires an experienced communications practitioner with the ability to counsel senior executives. We look for you to bring:
- Outstanding personal communication skills with the professional stature and presence to represent the group
- Strong media relations skills and relationships
- A strong record of delivering engaging content that drives brand building especially within Sustainability & Innovation
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- High organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects autonomously
- Ability to understand and adjust to changing priorities, circumstances, and personal styles
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (written and spoken), additional languages an advantage. Travel Requirements: Ability to travel internationally
