**Corporate Development Manager**
at Scandit, Zurich or Europe/US (remote)

As Corporate Development Manager at Scandit, you will own and drive sourcing of technology partnership opportunities and acquisition targets and assist in the valuation and execution of inorganic growth opportunities globally. You will work closely with senior members of Management, Product and Engineering to help drive our global M&A strategy, including building investment theses, industry analysis, deal sourcing, and refinement of our evaluation criteria. You will also assist with the due diligence efforts prior to and after execution of term sheets.

**What You Will Do**:

- Lead our inbound sourcing efforts of potential acquisition targets globally
- Work with senior members in Product and Engineering in aligning strategic initiatives with sourcing efforts
- Comprehensively screen technical and financial information to identify public and private targets to build and maintain list of targets
- Work with product management to estimate and forecast new product offerings and go-to-market activities related to acquisitions.
- Coordinate and assist in outreach activities to potential targets with senior executives
- Evaluate potential acquisitions for strategic and product fit and assist in the creation business cases
- Assist in buy-versus-build analysis, valuation, and execution of M&A transactions
- Evaluate industry trends including private company funding rounds and industry M&A activity

**Who You Are**:

- Master's degree in finance or in a technical field (MBA preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in the Enterprise Software Industry, inCorporate Development, or at a VC firm.
- Ability to forge strong relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization
- Ability to multi-task & prioritize
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Open minded, sociable, and communicative.
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
- You will either be living within commutable distance of our Zurich office (preferred) or work remotely from a US or European location.
