**Your contribution**

Are you driven by the prospect of spearheading strategic initiatives and fostering growth through mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships? As an Associate Corporate Development at Tecan, you'll be at the forefront of our strategic endeavors, supporting market intelligence gathering, strategic project execution, and M&A activities. Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting Corporate Development Leadership in driving key strategic projects, including market analysis, competitor landscape assessment, and strategic initiative implementation.
- Providing insightful competitive analysis and strategic advice to Tecan's leadership, contributing to the development and review of company strategy.
- Identifying and nurturing growth opportunities, participating in companywide strategic initiatives, and coordinating Project Management Office (PMO) activities.
- Independently conducting complex analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence processes for M&A transactions.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, preparing presentations for senior management, and facilitating workshop sessions.

**Your background**

We're seeking individuals with a blend of scientific expertise and business acumen, coupled with a passion for driving strategic growth in the life sciences domain. Your background ideally includes:

- A Master's or PhD degree in Sciences (preferably life sciences disciplines like Biology or Engineering) with further education or experience in business administration, or a Master's degree in Economics with a genuine interest in Life science.
- Prior experience (up to max. 3 years) in strategy development, M&A, or due diligence, preferably within a tier-1 management consultancy with exposure to life sciences, corporate development department of a life science company, or investment banking.
- Proficiency in English and German, with additional languages considered a plus.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, essential for data analysis, financial modeling, and presentation preparation.
