As our new Head of Global Medical Learning and Capabilities, within this role, you will be leading the global medical training and capabilities center with the goal to drive the internal medical training and capabilities strategy, and its implementation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate and partner with medical Subject Matter Experts (Global, Regions and Countries) and the Medical Leadership Team to identify capability gaps/needs for optimal learning solutions
- Develop a cohesive Learning and Capability building strategy and curriculum that ensures excellent medical capabilities across our Medical Affairs organization, aligned with our medical strategy, launch roadmap and globally defined medical competencies
- Drive its implementation jointly with the Medical Leadership team across Global, Region and Country medical organizations
- Define competency model for Medical Roles in scope including technical, operational, and leadership capabilities, partnering with key functional areas
- Develop and recommend Learning and Capability building solutions, tools (including virtual training) and processes within the medical organization
- Develop, design and deliver fit for purpose medical onboarding modules
- Set consistent Galderma medical learning standards (aligned with Corporate Galderma Learning principles and standards) and establish a hub of medical capability building expertise, leveraging best practices and synergies across our medical organization
- Implement formal measures to ensure continuous improvements, behavioral change measures and impactful capabilities' progress via measurable objectives and pre-agreed KPIs
- Continually identify and initiate innovative ways to simplify and improve tools and content, onboarding and learnings. Leverage existing learning platforms technology to enhance training programs and dissemination of information
- Ensure compliance with all Galderma internal guidelines and standard operating procedures, working processes, etc.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (PhD in Biology, Pharmacy or Medicine)
- Medical writing training, preferred
- Demonstrated level of leadership skills within scientific and medical communication area such as publications
- Work experience as an employee of a medical device, pharmaceutical or medical service company and good understanding of med. communication and med. information workflows, standards, and best practices
- Proven experience leading medical writer, medical communication teams and medical information teams
- Demonstrated level of medical writing skills with capacity to compile manuscripts for scientific journals, and abstracts and posters for scientific congresses
- Experience as clinical project manager and writing publications from clinical studies is meriting
- Experience in literature surveillance of scientific databases
- Substantial experience of compilation, analysis and dissemination of scientific data information
- Proven verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to work cross-functionally in a commercial and medical science environment
