Data Engineering Intern

**FPT Motorenforschung AG** in Arbon has around 250 highly qualified employees

working with commitment and acknowledged success. As the main innovation center for

FPT Industrial, the site is involved in developing future powertrain solutions (not only in

electrified powertrains, hybrids and fuel cells, but also novel engines concepts and

alternative fuels) and is therefore at the forefront of a transition towards a future of

alternative propulsion systems.

We would like to fill the following position as soon as possible:
**Data Engineering Intern (f/m)
The post processing team is a part of testing operation and prototype and is responsible

for the delivery and maintenance of data post processing tools and reporting used for

post elaboration of various tests that are conducted for development or certification

purposes.

**Your tasks**
- Support the development and maintenance of data post processing tools (data

handling, new calculation methods etc)
- Introduction of new calculation formulas or bug fixing if required
- Data base administration for entries used in post processing (measurement

channels, fuels, oils etc.)
- Documentation of post processing calculation formulas and instructions for

facilitating the use of post processing tools
- Support the improvement of report templates in accordance with the requests of

technical certification team
- General support in homologation activities (e.g. preparation of official reports)

**Your profile**
- Student, BSc or MSc preferably in the field of mechanical, chemical, electrical or

software engineering
- Programming skills especially in MATLAB and Visual Basic
- Good English skills (both spoken and written; min B2), some ability with the

German/Italian language would also be helpful
- You show initiative, good communication skills, you are a team player and highly

motivated
