**Battery Validation Internship**

**What we offer**:
You will have the unique opportunity to learn and contribute to our future electrified
powertrain product portfolio. As a Battery Validation Intern, you will report directly to the
Testing & Validation team leader and assist the team in battery testing, documentation,
research, data analysis and project management support.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Setting up and monitoring testing protocols for battery cells, modules and packs
- Participate in the collection and analysis of testing data
- Help create, review, and update test plans, standard operating procedures, test

reports, and other documentation
- Conduct research on the latest battery technologies, testing methodologies, industry

standards, and competitor products
- Support data analysis efforts including using software tools to process and visualize

data, performing statistical analyses, and assisting in result interpretation
- Support the team's project management efforts such as tracking progress against

project plans, coordinating communications and maintaining project documentation

**Requirements - **_Must haves_**:

- Currently enrolled student of Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field
- Understanding of battery systems and their testing protocols is a plus
- An analytically thinking mind and familiarity with data analysis software tools as well

as strong attention to detail and ability to assist in documentation
- Interest in conducting hands-on research and staying up to date with the latest

technological developments
- Willingness to learn fast and to not only work in a highly multinational team, but also

to take responsibility to independently manage smaller projects
- Advanced English language skills, written and spoken (B2 or higher)***
- You must either hold citizenship of Switzerland or an EFTA or EU-26 member state,

or alternatively possess a valid work permit for Switzerland

**Requirements - **_Nice to haves_**:

- Prior internship or academic experience related to battery systems or testing protocols
- Knowledge of testing and data analysis software (MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, etc.).
- Acquaintance with industry standards and best practices related to battery testing and

validation
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and good communication skills
- Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, as

well as familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, positive ca-do-attitude and a proactive

approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently when required and capability to quickly

adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment
- Interest in sustainable technologies, electric vehicles and renewable energy
- German and/or Italian skills could be an asset (business language is English, though)
