The positions we offer are best suited to recent graduates of a course of study, preferably at master’s level and up to 2 years of cumulated professional experience.

We expect applicants to provide:

Conditions and benefits of the Early Careers Programme- Full-time onsite employment of 6 months with the World Economic Forum Geneva office.- We will accommodate start dates between 1 April to 30 April 2024.- Monthly gross compensation of CHF 4’400. (salary: CHF 4’050- plus health benefits: CHF 350-).- All required technological equipment (laptop and mobile phone) and accesses.- Immigration and mínimal relocation support.

Role: BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT, LATIN AMERICA

As a partnership organisation, the Forum, through the Business Engagement Group, engages businesses to address industry, regional and systemic issues. Structured geographically, the region’s Business Engagement (BE) teams are responsible for building, managing, and developing the world’s communities of business partners to advance critical topics facing the emerging world through collaboration with government, industry, academia, and civil society leaders.

Reason for hiring:
The ECP - Business Engagement, Latin America, will manage a portfolio with an industry focus on financial services and partners mostly from Brazil. The ECP will manage and develop team-related processes and act as a focal point to share knowledge and experience across the team, cluster, and Forum.- Prepare company engagement plans and activate these engagements via the different Forum centres and communities.- Work closely with other teams, including business strategy and partner services, regional agenda, thematic centres, and industry communities, to support the design and execution of the engagement plan.- Initiate, maintain, and expand relationships with main counterparts across partner companies, capture and record insights from interactions.- Keep track of the health of the Latin American portfolio of partner companies by proactively generating alerts and informing the team about upcoming renewals and overdue and at-risk cases and by nurturing the pipeline of potential companies in the region mission aligned with the Forum.- Support the team’s engagement activities through research, partner briefings, tailor-made proposals, and engagement decks.

Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.- Up to 2 years experience in client-facing functions and the private sector.- Must be fluent in Portuguese and English (fluency in Spanish is also helpful).

Desired skills:
- Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and simultaneously handle multiple tasks and assignments.- Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented- An enthusiasm to collaborate with people from other teams and a flexible team player- Business analysis, report generation and familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce).
