The positions we offer are best suited to recent graduates of a course of study, preferably at master’s level, and with at least one previous professional experience.

Conditions and benefits of the Early Careers Programme- Full-time onsite employment contract of 6 months with the World Economic Forum Geneva office- We will accommodate start dates between September 1st to October 15th 2023- Monthly gross compensation of CHF 4’400. (salary: CHF 4’050- plus health benefits: CHF 350-)- All required technological equipment (laptop and mobile phone) and accesses- Minimal travel support

Future of Work in Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing and Value Chains

The

Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains Centre

aims at enabling more resilient, sustainable and inclusive manufacturing ecosystems and supply chains to usher in a new wave of global economic and social prosperity.

By joining the team, the ECP would specifically contribute to the Future of Work in Manufacturing Pillar, an actionable and neutral space that convenes manufacturing senior executives, governments, and academia to share insights and learn why and where to effectively empower workers and unlock their full potential.

Reason for hiring:
- Support the Centre in expanding the current portfolio of Future of Work in Manufacturing-related activities, with a specific focus on further developing the strategy and content of the ongoing projects, scoping potential new pieces of work to be incubated and helping manage the related deliverables defined by the community- Bringing together internal teams at the WEForum as well as external stakeholders from business and government around the world to create consensus around emerging challenges and opportunities related to the future of people in manufacturing- Contributing to design and execute events and sessions on Future of Work in Manufacturing and related topics

Preferred qualification and experience:
- Master’s Degree preferred.- Up to 2 years practical experience around manufacturing-related topics, preferably in corporate and/or consulting firm.

Desired skills:
- Data Analytics, well versed in analysing data and news sources.- Narrative development, proven ability for developing high quality reports.- Project management skills, including managing complex assignments and balancing competing priorities

Centre for Cybersecurity, Cyber Resilience

The Centre for Cybersecurity (C4C) was established by the World Economic Forum in 2018 with the aim of building a collective response to global cybersecurity challenges by leveraging the impartial, public-private platform of the World Economic Forum.

To achieve its mission, the C4C provides a platform for its partners and stakeholders to drive strategic insights and anticipate trends on the horizon. Such efforts include the Forum’s Cyber Resilience initiatives that aim at enhancing cyber resilience by developing and scaling forward-looking solutions and promoting effective practices across industry ecosystems. These initiatives assemble prominent cybersecurity experts to discuss, shape and build insights on the most salient cybersecurity trends.

Reason for hiring:
- Develop research
