We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pricing Lead to join our Europe Market Access team. As the Pricing Lead Europe, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize the value of our products in the European market. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead pricing initiatives, ensuring alignment with market access and commercialization goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the pricing landscape for our innovative pharmaceutical portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Pricing Development:
- Develop and execute pricing strategies for current and future products across European markets.- Conduct thorough market analyses, considering competitive landscapes, reimbursement environments, and economic trends to inform pricing decisions.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Country Market Access Leads, Market Access Directors Europe, Global Market Access, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, and other relevant teams to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.- Provide guidance on pricing considerations during product development and commercialization phases.
3. Pricing Optimization:
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing pricing strategies, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.- Implement pricing models and methodologies to enhance profitability while ensuring market competitiveness.
4. Market Access Support:
- Work closely with country Market Access teams to navigate pricing and reimbursement submissions, addressing payer requirements and negotiations effectively.- Provide pricing insights to support successful market access strategies.
5. Government Affairs and Compliance:
- Stay abreast of evolving pharmaceutical pricing regulations and policies in European countries.- Ensure pricing strategies comply with relevant laws and regulations, collaborating with legal and compliance teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree (MBA, MSc) preferred. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical pricing, market access, or related roles.- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical pricing dynamics in the European market.- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful pricing strategies for pharmaceutical products.- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, payer landscapes, and regulatory environments in Europe.- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.- Effective communication and leadership capabilities with the ability to influence cross functional teams.
