We are looking for a Product Owner to work with our cybersecurity group in support of business planning for our Cyber Range product.

The Product Owner is responsible for providing strategic direction, business planning, and project management support to the project team in developing new and innovative updates and ad-on features to RHEA’s Cyber Range.

**About the team and location**:
(The Product Owner reports to the Vice President of Cyber Range Solutions while working collaboratively with RHEA’s product developers and pre-sales engineers Sales Engineer.

**Tasks and Activities**:
The scope of work will include:

- Providing high level collaboration on product decisions and prioritization.
- Supporting the project manager and development leads in navigating through development roadblocks.
- Assisting in the execution process within the development teams, implementing and running activities.
- Helping to develop capabilities and solutions to address requirements and achieve desired customer outcomes.
- Translating problem statements and solution hypotheses into user stories or other forms of requirements, ensuring clear acceptance criteria and measurable success metrics.
- Leading backlog refinement sessions to maintain a consistently up-to-date, prioritized backlog of clearly defined features/stories.
- Engaging with cross-functional stakeholders, technical architects and engineering to develop the best solution options.

**Skills and Experience**:
The following skills and experience are mandatory:

- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. business administration, marketing, communications, technical fields).
- One to two years of proven product management or related experience, or a strong track record of customer-centric thinking that indicates future success in this role.
- Significant experience in customer and user-facing roles, including but not limited to a combination of interviewing, meeting facilitation, presentation, conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Relationship building and collaboration skills across diverse and matrixed stakeholders and customers.
- Ability to surface, prioritize and balance multiple stakeholder priorities.
- Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong meeting facilitation skills.
- Ability to lead a constructive retrospective session with respect to processes, tools, practices and outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, including experience interpreting data, sometimes with limited context and direction.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic thinking and strong business acumen.

The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:

- Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
