Your Impact

As part of the Global Operations Finance team, you will partner with the Global Manufacturing lead and the production teams to deliver committed results and accounting requirements. ASP currently has two production sites, one in Irvine (CA, USA) and one in Schaffhausen (CH). The broader Operations Finance team focuses on Purchasing, Quality, Supply Chain and Manufacturing. This role is ideally based in US (Irvine) or Switzerland (Schaffhausen), but can also be fully remote.

**Responsibilities**:
Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable government laws, regulations and ASP policies, procedures and guidelines, this position:
Actively partners with the Manufacturing lead/teams to control and optimize financial performance. Drives decision making and leads/supports business initiatives to deliver on committed results. P&L and working capital delivery are key KPIs for this activity.

Leads worldwide budgeting and forecasting process for manufacturing; including data collection, understanding key drivers, ensuring robust assumptions are considered and challenged with business leaders, providing sound interpretation of variances, identification of risks and opportunities. Forecast accuracy is a critical metric for this activity.

Provides (senior) management with support and a clear understanding of the actual performance by reporting and education. Business NPS score is a key metric for this activity.

Coordinates month end closing activities with regional and functional finance teams; leads compliant, accurate and complete cost and inventory accounting. Drives Global Standard costing updates in collaboration with the regional finance and operations teams. Actively support internal and external audit processes with compliant documentation and open communication. Audit compliance is a critical metric for this activity.

Provides FBS leadership and toolkits to the Business teams to structure and enable performance management. P&L and working capital delivery are key metrics for this activity.

Initiate/lead or support (cross) functional improvement projects to improve product margins, either initiated by Corporate or Global Finance Operations. Project delivery is important metric for this activity

**Qualifications**:
A minimum of 5 years of finance or accounting experience is required

MSc Degree preferred

Experience in the medical industry and/or field of Operations preferred

Highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and validated (cross functional) leadership skills

Proven intuition for business and commercial attitude

Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills

Ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization and work independently

Proficient level of Microsoft Excel and ERP system skills. Experience with standard costing required, SAP background preferred

CPA, CMA or equivalent finance qualification preferred

Experience with or motivation to learn Six sigma and process excellence tools/methodologies

Business fluency in English, additional languages are a plus.
