The IS Design and Build Manager is the main accountable chief for the development of new connectivity infrastructural solutions and key intersection point between demand and run. Is accountable to develop a connectivity design strategy in collaboration with the Service Owner
**Your responsibilities**:
- Be accountable for developing and implementing IS infrastructural solutions, ensuring integrity, quality and compliance with enterprise and architectural standards
- Lead and supervise a global, multinational hosting design and build organization composed of Solution Architects and Project Managers that either plan, build or support IS solutioning, coming from Business or Support-Function demands
- Support to develop and implement tactical plans to facilitate and coordinate the delivery of infrastructure services.
- Assure the build team is contributing proactively to IS Problem and IS Incident Management in supporting issue resolution during project delivery to avoid delays or any other form of negative impact to a project or service
**Your background**:
- Master’s Degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar
- Fluent spoken and written English
- ITIL 4 foundation certification required
- Agile, SCRUM, Lean, DevOps and IS infrastructural architecture certification preferred
- Proven track record of technical background in infrastructural design, development and cloud implementation
- Strong user of design thinking approach to design digital solutions
- Ability to direct and manage a department of technical infrastructure experts and project managers.
- Ability to collaborate and direct external vendor managers
- Ability to coordinate, lead and drive internal or external development team.
- Ability to find the best solution for implementing business requirement.
- Deep analytical skills and the ability to see the connections between layers of business operations
- Flexible and adaptable to work in a dynamic environment
- Deep understanding of Agile methodology and DevOps concepts
- Strong communication skills, ability to listen, advise, empathize, explain
- Enthusiasm for continuously improving the IS experience, making it more enjoyable and productive for consumers
- Passion for new IS Technologies and digital automation
- Understanding of project and product management
