How does this role help us to succeed:
Independent pricing of complex transactions is essential to the profit generation of Axis Reinsurance. The calculation of our KPIs and provision of top tier analytics to our risk takers is a key differentiator in a competitive market.

What will you do in this role:
1. Credit Treaty Pricing
- Responsible for technical pricing analyses
- Provide top tier analytics to underwriters including rate adequacy
- Documentation of assumptions

2. Rate and trend monitoring

3. Tool ownership
- Enhancing existing tools capabilities and analytics
- Integrate tools into the Axis tool landscape

4. Aggregation and Accumulation
- Data capture into Axis exposure management system
- Aggregation of credit exposures for Reinsurance
- Provide top tier analytics to underwriters

5. Projects
- Work together with colleagues in cross-functional actuarial projects.

6. Reserving and Planning
- Provide pricing input to reserving and planning processes

You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

About You:

What we need you to have:
1. Confident, can-do attitude and an enthusiastic proposer of solutions

2. Minimum requirement of Bachelors, preferably in Math or Science

3. Part qualified or fully qualified Actuary; OR part qualified / qualified CFA with an interest to take actuarial exams

What we prefer you to have:
4. Advanced understanding of portfolio modelling and actuarial pricing techniques

5. Programming experience in SQL, Python / R

Role Factors:
In this role, you will typically be required to work a minimum of 3 days a week n the Zurich office
