**Your responsibilities**: For this role, you will work closely with the external curators, directors, Head of Communications and the Executive Editor, manage all the practical aspects of the conception and delivery of Art Basel's talks program Conversations in Basel, Miami Beach, and where relevant, support the Paris team
- You will oversee all aspects of the physical and digital execution of the program, including its operational needs
- Together with the external curators, manage speaker invitations, leading on all logístical requirements
- Supervise and organise all speaker accommodation, travel and VIP pass provision
- Liaise with speakers and moderators to prepare their panels including any presentations
- Manage the Conversations program budget including processing all program invoices
- Lead on delivering the program onsite and managing the auditorium space
- Liaise with AV company on the setup of the event, livestream and making the recordings of events available in a timely manner following the show
- Ensure proper archiving of all physical and digital materials
- Maintaining the program archive and database
- Manage freelance Conversations assistant(s) if applicable

**Your profile**:

- You bring a Bachelor or Master of Arts degree as well as minimum five years of art-related experience, with experience in managing talks programs/ symposia/ conferences or events in an art world context
- Experience managing technical teams including AV crew
- Ability to work within a custom CMS environment and manage web content
- Strong communication skills, team player
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to liaise with over 100 individuals for each event
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and work under pressure
- Experience in finance processes and budget management
- Flexibility to work late evenings and weekends during the fair
- Ideally, copywriting and copyediting skills with the ability to uphold journalistic standards as well as brand and style guideline
- Native-level (C2) English and at least one other language
- Available and willing to travel up to all the Art Basel fairs for up to 9 days at a time.
- Entitled to work in Switzerland or France
