**Task Description**
The Product Manager takes full product responsibility related to IS Machines and Ware
Handling equipment for glass container forming machines within Bucher Emhart Glass.
The task comprises:
- the assigned product portfolio to
- manage launched portfolio products process
- to keep these products constantly updated you will have close contacts to our world
- wide customers- work in an interdisciplinary international team of engineers, marketing, manufacturing,
- and sales specialist- identify additional business opportunities aligned with the company strategy
- provide gap analysis and competitor’s benchmark
- supports the interdisciplinary development teams to ensure new innovative successful
products product’s
**Responsibilities**
- Monitor market trends and systematically gather information on competitive products
and competitors’ strategies.
- Develop Product Strategies for the assigned portfolio in collaboration with Engineering,
Sales and Manufacturing.
- Preparation of investment decisions concerning new products (cost evaluation for
development, manufacturing and market introduction, price proposal, market and ROI
forecasts)

- Marketing plan and manufacturing plan including price proposal based on cost and
competitors’ prices
- Supervise and actively assist market introduction. Responsible for sales package and
launch activities
- Manage and supervise the commercial success of his products. Implement active
measures for improvement if necessary, including product improvements, sales actions,
training, promotions etc.
- Oversee all phases of product life
- Ensures product definition and customer requirements by supporting the R&D, Sales
- and Service organization- Update and maintain product documentation
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Product Manager in industrial products or capital
- investments- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of participating in or leading
- cross-functional teams- Open for close collaboration with other functions and locations in an international
- environment- Excellent command in English is a must, any other European language would be an asset
- Computer literate - MS Office programs
- Readiness for international travel (approx. 20%)
