- We’re looking for an Architect to:
- work closely with cross-functional team members in a pod (cross-functional team) or crew to improve (digital) products and journeys iteratively and continuously in line with our Digital Principles and architecture goals
- work closely with domain CTO to adhere to CTO architectural guidelines and support evolving these for future needs
- support pods, crews, and streams in identifying and designing suitable architectures in different layers e.g., enterprise architecture, data architecture, solution architecture, technology architecture
- syndicate architectures among pods, crews and streams and ensure these conform to architectural standards and guidelines; resolve interdependencies and conflicts and maintain a technical roadmap and maintain overview of architectural gaps
- manage and maintain requests for comments (RFCs), architectural decision records (ADRs) and risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAIDs)
- collaborate with other architects to define architectural goals and standards and manage temporary solutions and technical debt remediation
- play an active role in consulting product owners on translating OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) into backlog items and include architectural improvements into the roadmap

**Your team**
- In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Data & Reporting crew in Basel or Zurich, focusing on keeping the further development architecturally compliant or, where we break new ground, defining the new architectural guidelines. In addition you’ll help preparing us in making our next technology steps (e.g. cloud, streaming).

**Your expertise**
- master’s degree or equivalent focusing on computer science (especially advanced analytics topics)
- ideally 5+ years working as an architect in a data warehouse/lake/mesh environment
- proven delivery of analytics centric solutions
- successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key objectives and timelines
- strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
- curious to learn new technologies and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
- fluent in English, German is a plus
