**Enterprise Data Backbone**:

- The Enterprise Data Backbone provides the most user-friendly real-time data for all our internal and external stakeholders, accessible through self-service tools.

We will transform the way we gather and use insights by integrating completely new types of data to better support our patient and others in the healthcare system. We will build capabilities to gather real world data outside of clinical trials in ways we have not been able to do so far.

Making data more easily accessible across Takeda and finding a way to share it so that we don’t keep re-inventing the wheel. We will push ourselves to think beyond our normal constructs of clinical trials or today's supply chains.

We will explore a future where we get data from all corners of the world - digital communities, wearable devices, social media, surveys, for a, consumer data combined with hospital, pharmacy and EMR data. We will unlock innovation across the development life cycle supporting accelerated clinical development, reducing clinical trial costs, etc.

As our successful Enterprise Data Solutions Architect, you will understand the business landscape architecture, digest the business hurdles, and build solutions around it.

You will be a key advisory member of the Business Intelligence team as well as a key contributor to Takeda’s BI Architecture, engaging in a highly collaborative way to understand the business domain including strategic business needs and roadmaps; collaborate with the functional area to solve unique and high complex BI Architecture or business-significant problems, build capabilities, and shape technology strategy.

You will understand commercial market share, manufacturing of pharma products and systems to collect data and come up with solutions to increase marketing effectiveness and drive business solutions

You will also manage data governance and data quality best practices. Work with business and IT stakeholders to ensure data architectures address business and IT objectives.

And as our Enterprise Data Solutions Architect, you will provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the technologies, standards, processes and architectures for data across the enterprise

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Architect, Design, and Deliver Cloud Data and Analytics solutions (Amazon Web Services experience preferred) encompassing multiple technologies and services
- Focus on AWS native services and optimizing the data landscape through the adoption of these services
- Strong focus on delivering cloud solutions to support the business in their journey to become a data driven edifice
- Lead IT technical discussions and collaborate with business on solution implementation
- Produce technical documentation, including design plans, solution architecture diagrams, data flow mappings
- Effectively plan, prioritize, and manage the delivery of data to increase business effectiveness and take ownership of solutions, assignments, actions items and issues, and remain accountable for their completion
- Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of complex data systems and solutions.
- Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models to support data analysis and business intelligence.
- Create and maintain current and target state data architectures.
- Define and manage standards, guidelines and processes to ensure data quality.
- Ensure technology solutions are in alignment with data architecture principles and target state.
- Oversee end-to-end data life cycle management activities.
- Work with IT teams, business analysts and data analytics teams to understand data consumers’ needs and develop solutions.
