**Contexte**:
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of five Swiss university hospitals. Through its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and the EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in the areas of medical care, medical research and training.

**The Center for Research and Innovation in Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences (CRISP)** of the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV), affiliated to the **Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Western Switzerland (ISPSO)** is promoting research and teaching in clinical pharmaceutical sciences. One main research focus of the group is the promotion of rational, safe and effective use of drugs in real life settings.

**Mission**:

- The PhD student will be responsible for the **characterization of drug disposition in Tanzanian patients with tuberculosis and other comorbidities**, such as malnutrition and HIV, using a pharmacometric approach
- The PhD student will be in charge of **validating/optimizing dosage regimen recommendations of rifampicin** to achieve the desired efficacy targets
- The PhD student will be responsible for the elaboration of the **clinical validation protocol** for the prospective study for the assessment of the benefits of the clinical decision support system for rifampicin computer-aid therapeutic drug monitoring vs standard practice
- The PhD students will **collaborate with the other PhD students** in all the different steps of the project.

**Profil**:

- Master's degree in **Pharmaceutical Sciences** or equivalent
- Ability to tackle complex problems **independently and in collaboration**:

- Fluency in **English** and** French**:

- Very good **organization and communication skills**.
