**Your role**
- Do you enjoy architecting and creating strong and stable data architectural foundations on which innovative, creative and sustainable solutions can be built? Do you have great depth in technical knowledge as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in IT and Business? - We’re looking for Data Architect to:
- help shape the direction and delivery of a key strategic undertaking, supporting cross divisional needs
- work with business stakeholders and aligned technology teams to help transform data into valuable insights that inform business decisions
- engineer reliable data pipelines for sourcing, processing and distributing data using the data ecosystem effectively
- learn new technologies and practices and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
- work in an agile way as part of multi-disciplinary teams

**Your team**
- You'll be working within the global Artificial Intelligence, Data & Analytics Center of Expertise team, closely interacting with our business professionals and data scientist teams across the bank. You will be joining a team that are helping to scale, build and leverage data and AI in the business. The team partners with different divisions and functions across the Bank to develop innovative digital solutions and expand our technical expertise into new areas. The team has recently been founded and you will have the opportunity to further shape and establish its footprint in the organization.

**Your expertise**
- a degree in engineering, science or equivalent from an accredited institution
- ideally 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture & Design and experience working with databases, data extraction, data mining, data analytics, data visualization
- evidence of successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key objectives and timelines
- analytical mindset and a desire to make organizations more data-driven
- ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements with concrete actions
- ability to articulate technical concepts and results to diverse audiences
- solid interpersonal skills, able to build trusted relationships within the team and across the organization at all levels
- experience with Cloud and agile methods
- transferable experience in technology, consulting and/or finance

It would be beneficially if you have:

- understanding of Data Mesh principles and how they can be used to improve business benefit and increase delivery velocity of Data Assets in a complex environment.
- language skill in addition to English fluency
