**CONTEXT**

Our Manufactures have embarked into a journey with Industry 4.0 to accelerate digitalization and support more connected operational use cases bringing more efficiency and quality, based on latest technologies for Industrial IoT, Automation, No/Low Coding platforms and Analytics.

The scope of our manufacturing operations covers 30+ sites in Europe on which 20+ in Switzerland and various business activities mainly based on watchmaking & jewellery, from traditional to more industrialized practices.

**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**

The role is embedded in Richemont’s Group Technology Product Domain “Operations & Services” and part of the Manufacturing Product Area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Building and operating components of our IIoT architecture for the Digital Manufacturing entities.
- Architecting the IIoT end-to-end. Including field connectivity, edge to cloud components deployment and maintenance, as well as security.
- Lead and consult key users as well as the internal teams on the topic of IT and OT convergence for manufacturing industries.
- Consult and advise Business users in their operations, by maintaining software updates, scaling the solution and any type of service that keeps the system optimized.

**HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCESS WITH US?**
- Bachelor's or Master degree in Engineering with strong emphasis in computer science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in contact with an industrial environment in Production and as well in IT
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, including object-oriented environments, Agile and Scrum models as well as rapid prototyping in an industrial environment on innovative components.
- Capabilities of modeling and implementing of IIOT data models based on the ISA95 standard.
- Broad knowledge in networking and connectivity both on OT side (OPCUA and MQTT standards, PLCs and industrial systems (CNC)) as well as the IT side (REST API, PubSub, TCP/IP, Subnets, VLANs, Security and Firewalls).
- Programming background with knowledge of Javascript, Python and other high-level programming frameworks.
- Experience with installation and setup of systems such as gateways, servers (Linux/Windows/VM/Docker), databases and clouds (AWS)
- Experience with SQL and Time Series databases, cloud storage services a plus.
- Experience with ERP/PLM systems integration will be a plus
- Experience with support organization (prevent system/network outages and data loss) and keeping systems scalable
- Ability and experience to effectively communicate technical information to management, peers and industry partners.
- Fluent in English
