**Role Purpose**
- The Senior Group Consolidation expert is a key team associate in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting process through his/her responsibility for correctness and transfer of important financial data in the area of Equity reporting and developing data for qualitative and timely creation of monthly financial statements at group level.
- Preparing and delivering profound financial figures and
- Providing services and expertise to global and divisional functions
- Collaboration and direct work with the External Financial Statistics Lead
**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Member of the Group consolidation team acting as expert in the Equity reporting area taking on leadership and accountability in the accuracy of Group’s statements of comprehensive income and changes in equity and therefore is the main point of contact for any issue and responds to requests coming from top management
- In charge of internal and external presentation in his/her area of Monthly, Quarterly Financial Group figures and provides audited IFRS compliant external reporting as well as non-IFRS performance measures for legally binding published presentations (Annual report, Press Release) as well as for the monthly internal presentations to ECN and Board of Directors of Sandoz Group.
- Responsible of several Notes in the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Report
- Providing guidance to the local and divisional teams in the area of Equity on transctions such as mergers, deconsolidations, spin-off, new acquisitions
- Supporting affiliates to report high quality financial figures and achieve a high quality reporting level
- Project Manager for assigned topics (defines ambitious objectives, deliverables & drives the project within the Group team and accross C&R teams)
- Updating / Improving SOX404 process descriptions / key control documentation and carry out testing of complex areas of consolidation accounting
- Providing special analysis / quality comments for complex areas of the consolidation accounting to top management, Group Auditors, Treasury, Investor Relation and others.

**Minimum requirements**
- Professional experience in Accounting/Consolidation or in an economic environment, ideally in financial reporting or accounting preferred
- Higher education, such as Degree of Economics or Business Administration or Chartered Accountant
- Company’s external reputation - Risk of mistakes in published financial figures negatively affects external reputation of Sandoz in the Finance world - ensure that this does never happen.
- Supports internal reputation of Group FRA as stable provider of solid IFRS financial data to ECN and Board of Directors of Sandoz.
- Enabler of fast close process to give the top management high quality financial data in a short time
- The skill to present complex questions in a clear and simplified way to internal stakeholders
