**The Opportunity**:
As our successful **Head of E&C Commercial & Portfolio Strategy, PDT BU** you will be in a vital role within the Global Ethics & Compliance Function.
Here you will help Takeda realize our guiding principles of encouraging ethical behaviour and shared responsibility among all employees. This is turn empowers Takeda’s unwavering commitment to patients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Establish, develop and enhance the ethics and compliance strategy for the Commercial and Portfolio Strategy (CPS) team, the Pricing team and Global Tender Excellence Team. These teams set the brand strategy across plasma-derived therapies at Takeda level and establish global and local strategies for pricing of PDTs and tender excellence.
- Support the delivery of the E&C program across the PDT BU, building key relationships with leaders and working together with the PDT E&C Leadership team.
- Lead discussions with senior leaders and help shape the PDT BU’s organizational mindset around Takeda’s Values: Takeda-ism and PTRB (Patient-Trust-Reputation-Business)-Model to firmly embed ethical decision-making principles.
- Ensure PDT BU E&C program is in place including sufficient controls to manage company risks and align with regulatory obligations (monitoring plan, policy, procedure, learning, risk assessment)
- Lead the annual E&C Risk/Activity Assessment across CPS, including the Pricing team and the Global Tender Excellence team. Align with PDT BU Patient Advocacy and the relevant Regions and LOCs to support the PDT BU E&C risk assessment process.
- Lead the Enterprise Risk Assessment and the Compliance Risk Assessment processes across CPS and in close collaboration with other PDT E&C team members, including follow-up of assigned risk mitigation measures with the CPS Leadership Team and the PDT BU Leadership Team.
- Lead E&C investigations for CPS, Pricing and Tender in the US and Europe. As needed, work in close alignment with the Global Investigations Team, with the HR team on matters of local labor law and disciplinary actions, and with Legal on matters of legal interpretation/legal privilege.
- Act as point of contact for internal and external audits. Oversee mitigation and remedial action from monitoring, audit, case management. Help resolve issues and drive alignment with PDT BU senior leaders concerning E&C or PDT BU driven programs (audit remediation, policy, process, PLM).
- Design and establish relevant E&C policies and procedures across CPS, Pricing and Tender teams. Lead alignment of policies and procedures with E&C Officers across PDT BU geographies (Regions and LOCs) to drive consistency of legal, regulatory and policy interpretation, and effectiveness and efficiency of established internal controls.
- Define and deliver the E&C Learning Curriculum across CPS, Pricing and Tender teams including F2F/virtual learning sessions. Work closely with the PDT BU HR team to assign relevant e-learn through the Learning Management Experience (system).
- Ensure that the E&C Learning Curriculum is appropriately embedded in the annual learning offerings across the BioLife organization and appropriately captured in the PDT BU Induction Forum and online learning journey for new joiners.
- Prepare materials for, and periodically lead on topics at PDT BU RECC (Risk, Ethics & Compliance Committee) meetings.
- Use the PDT BU Program Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool to assess current state of controls and the E&C program overall on a regular basis.
- Contribute to global E&C program development projects, as relevant from time to time (Code of Conduct, Values initiatives, Policies and Procedures)
