**The Department of Strategy, Globalization and Society (SGS)**:
The Department of Strategy, Globalization and Society (SGS) of the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC Lausanne) at the University of Lausanne provides a stimulating, interdisciplinary research environment. The initial contract is for 1 year. The contract is renewable 2x2 years.

**Salary**:

**Supervisor**:
Prof. Xavier Castañer

**Your responsibilities**:

- 50% of the assistant’s time will be dedicated to the completion of the doctoral studies in Management at UNIL.
- 50% of the assistant’s time will be dedicated to providing teaching, administrative, and research support for the supervisor.

**Your qualifications**:
In order to expand our team, we are looking for someone with the following skills:

- Master of science in management or in related social sciences (economics, sociology,..).
- Fluent in English.
- An interest in corporate strategy and development issues, such as the link between corporate governance (ownership structure, board composition) and corporate strategy, M&A processes, or the dynamics of interorganizational relations as a thesis topic.
