HR Crewing Manager

The Ligabue Group is a historical player in the Food Service sector and specialised in services for the maritime and energy industry markets. It develops Procurement, Catering and Facility Management services (including various integrated solutions, such as Housekeeping and Maintenance), and operates primarily in the maritime sector, for Cruise Ships, Ferries, Cargo Ships, and in the Oil & Gas, Mining and Construction sectors, on Off Shore platforms and at On Shore fields in remote areas.

**HR crewing manager**:
The Crewing manager has the overall responsibility for crew planning and operation functions of seafarers, including all manning requirements of each individual vessel and seafarer, all being in compliance with the regulatory requirements, company and customer standards.

The crewing manager’s duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Ensure and govern the coverage of adequate Industrial manning allowing for sufficient experience, consistent teamwork and on board

performance capability along with succession planning and promotion preparedness in cooperation with the rest of the operation team
- Compliance with safe manning requirements and effective Crew planning and execution
- Day to day Liaising with union and seafarers on matters of labour disputes
- Responsible for inputs to budgeting/Rolling forecast covering Daily Running Costs for the Manning/Industrial operations
- Provide strategic inputs for projected recruitment requirements, in order to ensure coverage of a sustainable crew pool within the assigned

fleet and the agreed manning factor
- Daily operational management of crewing matters in the designated area
- Effectively manage a diverse crew pool, to ensure a sustainable manning factor
- Supervising the implementation of Crew department procedures as planned and executed
- Responsibility for auditing all Industrial partners to ensure that they are compliant with the Maritime Labour Regulations and the contractual

arrangements in place
- Be involved in crew payroll and keeping abreast with market wages and benefits for seafarers
- Prepare yearly and monthly budgets for each activity and work followed
- Global recruitment strategies with our worldwide manning partners
- Nationalization Plan and Local content
- Reporting dashboard / KPIs and Continuous Improvement Actions
- Responsible for the Crewing issues with Flag State authorities
- Responsible for HR function during the Proposal/BID phase

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- General Degree in Business or Marine related Degree will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years offshore industry as crewing manager/executive
- Offshore operation experience is a must
- Proficient with existing MLC and STCW requirements
- Preferably with experience in developing and managing crewing budgets
- Must have advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must be willing to travel - 5%
