Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the old town, within the main business centre, close to the city’s leisure attractions and a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. Set to open end of 2023, Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich will feature 80 guestrooms and suites and three dining outlets, comprising an all-day dining venue, a speciality restaurant, and a lobby lounge. The property is ideally placed for meetings and gatherings, and the renovation will enhance conference and event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.

As Reservation Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following **duties**:

- Supporting and representing the Reservations & Switchboard Manager in their absence
- Handling all reservation requests as well as the group requests with our hotel software
- Collecting autonomously information about Turn Over, room occupancy and price structure
- Processing of VIP and regular guest bookings while considering special wishes and preferences
- Preparing offers for group and individual bookings complying with the expiry and cancellation deadlines
- Reviewing daily the PMS reservations and the creation of packages
- Checking, processing and filing of incoming reservation correspondence
- Managing and dispatching vouchers
- Communicating and cooperating efficiently with the Front Office, Sales & Marketing and Accounting Department
- Training and coaching of new team members
- Supporting the team members in all matters

As Reservation Supervisor, we **expect** from you:

- A completed apprenticeship as a hotel specialist, hotel clerk or travel agent
- At least 2 years of experience in the reservations department in a similar position
- In-depth computer skills, ideally HMS, Infor and Banqueting Delphi
- A friendly, courteous, confident appearance on the phone and in direct contact with the guests
- A strong sales
- and turnover-oriented working style as well as negotiation skills
- Organization skills, excellent manners and a well-groomed appearance
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Fluency in German and English is essential for this role. Other foreign languages are an advantage

Als Reservations Supervisor:in werden Sie verantwortlich für folgende **Aufgaben** sein:

- Unterstützung und Vertretung des Reservations Manager in dessen Abwesenheit
- Fachgerechte Annahmen und Bearbeitung von Reservierungsanfragen sowie die Bearbeitung von Gruppenanfragen mit unserer Hotelsoftware
- Selbständiges Einholen von Informationen über Zimmerbelegungssituation und Preisstruktur
- VIP- und Stammgastbuchungen mit deren besonderen Wünsche und Präferenzen
- Erstellung von Angeboten für Gruppen
- und Individualbuchungen und die Kontrolle unter Einhaltung der Verfalls
- und Stornofristen
- Tägliche Überprüfung der Reservierungen und das Anlegen von Packages
- Kontrolle, Bearbeitung und Ablage der eingehenden Reservierungskorrespondenz
- Verwaltung und der Versand von Gutscheinen
- Effiziente Kommunikation und Kooperation mit den Abteilungen Front Office, Sales & Marketing und Buchhaltung
- Trainieren und Coachen von neuen Teammitgliedern
- Unterstützung der Teammitgliedern in jeglichen Belangen

Als Reservations Supervisor:in **erwarten** wir von Ihnen:

- Eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Hotelfachmann/-frau, Hotelkaufmann/-frau oder Reiseverkehrskaufmann/-frau
- Mindestens 2 Jahre Erfahrung in der Reservierungsabteilung in einer ähnlichen Position
- Fundierte EDV-Kenntnisse, idealerweise HMS, Infor, Banqueting Delphi
- Freundliches, zuvorkommendes, sicheres Auftreten am Telefon und im Direktkontakt mit den Gästen
