Emirates SkyCargo Switzerland is looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused individual to join our small team of professionals in Zurich as a Cargo Agent. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their career in Air Cargo with Emirates, one of the world’s most respected and innovative airlines.

Switzerland is connected to the Emirates SkyCargo global network through double daily flights to Dubai from both Geneva and Zurich.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Based at Zurich Airport, this challenging position combines Customer Service and Operational responsibilities.
- Process customer booking requests and offer best possible solution considering revenue, contribution and capacity opportunities or constraints.
- Monitor and oversee the service provided by our Ground Handling Agent to ensure it is in line with EK standards, including build instruction, maximization of available space, safety and special handling requirements.
- Complete administrative duties as directed by the Cargo Supervisor, including data entry, statistics and reports
- Provide support in cargo commercial and operational activities as required.

**Experience, Qualifications and Competencies**:

- Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent level of education.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in both written and spoken English and German.
- Applicants must be eligible to live and work in Switzerland
- Knowledge and experienced user of computerized reservations system advantageous.
- Willing and able to work shifts, including weekends.
- Understanding of dangerous goods and pharmaceutical shipping procedures would be welcomed.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Customer Service oriented.
- Flexible, “can do” Team player.
- Highly numerate with a passion for optimisation and exceeding targets.
- Previous knowledge and experience within air cargo and/or airport operations segments with an airline, forwarder or handler is preferred but not essential
