**Your role**:

- The STM Data Quality Business Process Steward will also play a role of Delivery Lead in the ETM initiative, capturing Subject Matter Experts business needs, transforming them in Business Requirement Documentation, working Agile with development team, to deliver data integration and user interfaces.
- The role includes working transversally with others, collaborating with process sponsors, owners and partners for more integrated operational processes to execute, manage, and improve data-driven decisions and analytics. It comprises many underlying activities to support strategic initiatives, resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness.
The STM Data Steward will support governance on all the types and forms of Vaccines tender processes assisting all STM and ETM tender data related activities.
**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead management, maintenance and governance of Merck Vaccines tender business process standards.
- Define standards for Vaccines tender business processes to facilitate end to end data integration across systems.
- Work with Data Steward(s) to build an understanding and document the data flow, from its source to where it is reported and analyzed.
- Manage the Strategic Tender Dashboard process, feeding and quality analysis.
- Manage new data input process initiatives and related projects by defining high-level business case; providing requirements and tracking and prioritizing data projects within domain.
- Manage confidentiality, given sensitivity of data being managed, defining STM Vaccines tender data access permission plan, managing access requests.
- Monitoring data quality level, supporting data users as an expert of data in domain and ensuring compliance with business SOP.
- Work collaboratively with Tender Center Of Excellence, Business and IT partners.
- Provide consultative stewardship services to agile delivery teams and ensure enterprise data stewardship best practices.
- Participate in internal data governance communities and represent STM.
- Contribute to the definition / validation of business definitions for tender data elements.
- Identify need for and support data changes in TENDER1 Data.
- Implement changes to business definitions related to Strategic Tender Management and Vaccines Business Process for TENDER1.
- Define quality rules for tender data within domain.
- Identify issues to remediate, and prioritize when relevant.
- Inform Tender1 Data Responsible on remediation actions and support.
**Your profile**:

- 5+ years' experience as a Data Process Steward, Data Quality Analyst, Business Process owner, or Business Analyst.
- Experience with data analysis, data governance, data standards, business data modeling, metadata, data quality, and/or reporting processes and tools.
- Demonstrated user's experience in designing user-interface.
- Experience with data design, data audit, data governance and IT a plus.
- Experience working in Agile project management.
- Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence others.
- Customer focus to deliver positive customer experience in systems' design.
- Experience in performance management metrics.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Knowledge of data sources, transformation rules, and use of the data for the area of stewardship.
- Excel master user.
- Language: English is mandatory.
**Further information**:

- Work is onsite. Working remotely is possible but not considered as the main type of work. Daily meetings / Visio conference / calls are expected.
- Duration, possibilities for extension: Possibility for extension at end of initial contract, permanent position could be considered according to the situation at some point of time, if projects enabled.
