***Junior Data Scientist (80-100%)****:
Zurich | working from home up to 60% | Reference 4600

Data Analytics is responsible for turning data into valuable business insights. We shed light onto our markets and strive to provide all relevant information to our stakeholders so that they can navigate our product offerings and markets towards new endeavours. We connect people, processes and data to enable a holistic approach to customer relationship management.

This is why we are looking at you, a young and interested talent who would like to start a career in analytics in the financial service industry. In our young and evolving team Data Analytics, you will be able to create considerable value for our stakeholders and clients.

**What You Will Do**:

- help us move our current data analytics environment to a future-proof cloud-based target architecture and win new stakeholders
- work on exploratory data analyses for decision support, sales and product development
- liaise with stakeholders (product and sales managers, as well as data engineers) to provide analytics of market structure as well as product and client behavior
- build and maintain a reusable code base, dashboards, visualizations and analyses for recurring and ad hoc analytics
- support the team in Change, Data Governance and Architecture initiatives

**What You Bring**:

- bachelor’s or Master’s in (Business) Data Analytics / Data Science or similar field with a strong flair for computer science and some statistics and business
- solid programming skills in Python/Pyspark and SQL is a must (knowledge in object orientation would be strong plus)
- strong in visualizing massive amounts of data in simple dashboards (Tableau would be a plus)
- solid basics in machine learning and understanding of capital and financial markets
- very good communications skills (in German and English) with a pragmatic, down-to-earth and open personality
