**About NPI Program manager**

In order to support Distalmotion’s growth, we are opening a new position for an experienced Program manager that will be responsible for:

- Leading a program of related projects in the field of new product introduction (medical device) to meet strategic goals
- Leading directly cross functional projects for new product introduction of complex medical devices (sustaining or new development)

**Tasks**
- Structure a new program of new product introduction projects:

- Elaborate a plan to achieve strategic company goals
- Define program roadmap & projects prioritization in alignment with internal stakeholders
- Set up efficient structure for reporting and decision making
- Monitor & communicate progress
- Directly manage projects (medical device product sustaining or new product development):

- From project initiation till commercial launch of the product
- Lead cross-functional team (matrix environment): product management, R&D, operations, regulatory, etc.
- Monitor progress (budget, timeline, deliverables)

**Required abilities**
- Master’s degree in engineering (mechanical, microengineering, robotics, or related field)
- 5+ years' of experience as a program or project manager in the medical device industry, covering product development and/or manufacturing
- Track record of successfully delivering projects in a fast pace environment
- Knowledge of regulated industry: EN13485, MDR and/or FDA requirements
- Exceptional leadership, organizational and facilitation skills
- English Fluent. French and/or German a plus
- Certification in project management (PMI, IPMA, or similar) a plus
- Knowledge of Requirement management tool (Polarion, Doors, etc.) is a plus

It was founded in 2012, as a spin-off from the Robotics Lab of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL).
