**About Project Manager NPD**
As a member of the Program Management Team, the Project Manager will lead cross functional projects of complex medical devices (new development or sustaining) across the whole solution delivery value chain.
**Tasks**
- Manage projects (medical device product sustaining or new product development / introduction):
- From project initiation till commercial launch of the product
- Lead cross-functional team (matrix environment): product management, R&D, operations, regulatory, QA, etc.
- Ensure compliance with design control procedure & prepare (write and review) documentation for design reviews
- Monitor progress (budget, timeline, deliverables, risks)
- Contribute to the implementation of best in class project management standards and methods
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering (mechanical, microengineering, robotics, or related field).
- 2+ years' of experience as a project manager in the medical device industry, covering product development and/or manufacturing.
- Experience working in cross functional environments.
- Knowledge of regulated industry: EN13485, MDR and/or FDA requirements.
- Strong leadership, organizational and facilitation skills.
- English Fluent. French and/or German a plus
- Certification in project management (PMI, IPMA, or similar) a plus.
- Knowledge of Requirement management tool a plus (Polarion, Doors, etc.).

- Distalmotion is a medical device company founded and based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
