**About the Role**:
The Olympus Programme is a multi-year program, which will transform and harmonize the financial accounting and reporting platform and operating model for the three Swiss Re Business Units: Reinsurance, Corporate Solutions and IptiQ. The program consists of several projects including financial reporting and analysis, one common general ledger (SAP) and a market leading approach to multi-valuation insurance accounting (SAP Financial Products Sub-Ledger - FPSL). Using this groundbreaking technology, we are enabling the implementation of both the IFRS Local and Group Financial reporting as well as Swiss Solvency Test and other integrated valuations. As Product Owner for the Baseline P&C squad you will work closely with the development squad and user representatives as well as the other product owners within the Re/Insurance Accounting Product Area. You will be leading a multidisciplinary team consisting of Accounting and Actuarial Business Experts, Business Analysts and Application Engineers. **Your main responsibilities**:

- Further strengthen the end-to-end ownership for P&C business
- Negotiate business requirements with Group Accounting, P&C Business Management, Accounting & Reporting and other stakeholders and ensure they are provided timely and with sufficient detail
- Work closely with Product Area Management to create, prioritize and communicate product roadmaps and backlog items for the squad using iterative techniques with feedback loops
- Create transparency of the backlog within the squad and with stakeholders
- Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are understood and focused on by the team
- Ensure with scrum master that the team always has an adequate amount of prepared tasks to work on
- Support the squad in clarifying scope, by providing them with clear guidance on timelines and acceptance criteria
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of user stories as prioritized in the backlog
- Support the development of automated unit test cases and the end-to-end integration testing of FPSL
- Collaborate closely with other squads to develop cross-functional solutions or support problem resolution

Business and accounting understanding
- Firm understanding of (re)insurance accounting business requirements and ability to document and communicate them effectively to business owner(s), stakeholders and team members
- Good understanding of P&C re-/insurance business (Finance and/or Actuarial background)
- Hands-on experience as Product Owner

**System knowledge and project experience**:

- Prior experience with implementation of a sub-ledger preferred; experience with configuration of a standard accounting solution - preferably on an SAP platform (e.g. SAP Bank Analyzer, FPSL, Accounting for Insurance Contracts)
- Engaged participation in an agile project delivery setup (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospective, etc.) following a DevOps approach

**Testing**:

- Has experience with testing SAP FPSL or Bank Analyzer-based solutions
- Can formulate and document test cases to ensure specified business requirements are met
- Can effectively complete tests and reconciliations, and analyze root causes to understand why results are not as expected and follow-up on them accordingly
