Our client is a leading commodity trading and producing group based in the Zug area.

On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is looking for a Transformation Manager with an understanding of mining business processes & technology to help them shape the future of their operational processes and associated technologies.

This role would preferably be based in Switzerland but local in country locations of: South Africa, Australia, Canada and the USA are also possible.

Your mission
- Assess and select vendors & technology solutions related to mines and industrial/production plants sites
- Audit various sites about their technologies and operational processes to come up with propositions and initiatives to help them achieve their digital transformation
- Conduct solution design and blueprint workshops ensuring initial goals are met
- Project manage execution phases
- Manage commercial relationships with vendors
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and manage change ensuring successful adoptions of new solutions
- Cooperate and network with senior stakeholders at site and corporate levels to assist business case creation

Your background
- Minimum of 10-15 years of working experience within the mining or industrial with production facilities sectors
- Strong experience in managing large scale software and hardware implementation projects
- Solid background in data analytics and data warehouse architecture
- Experience in creating and understanding reports and dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
- Familiar with process excellence and LEAN methodologies or similar
- Self-starter and high performer able to operate as part of a team or individually
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel globally up to 30-40%
