**The Role**
**Position Summary**:
This position will lead the day to day finance operations of a number of Swiss based companies involved in manufacturing operations, IP management and other head office activity.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Performs and ensures the accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP
- Ensures accuracy and timelines of the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting
- Performs and analyses Quarter End Profit and Loss Analysis for certain holding companies
- Preparation of Budgets and Projections
- Leads the process for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Leads the process for timely and accurate reconciliationand documents account balances
- Preparation of the quarterly VAT Swiss Tax returns for the GCH group
- Performs quarterly tax calculations and proposes tax provision accruals
- Preparation of Financial Statements under Irish and Swiss GAAP
- Preparation and execution of Funds Flows/Cash management transactions including any legal documentation to be signed and submitted
- Preparation and analysis of the monthly cash flow variances
- Supports to Associate Director of planning activities and ongoing projects
**Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required**:
- 5 years Experience in accounting and reporting in a multinational company
- Professional Education in Accounting and Finance
- Thorough understanding of general accounting and financial principles under US GAAP (Knowledge of UK/Irish and Swiss GAAP would be desirable)
- Ability in working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Experience in working in a complex, matrix environment
- Understanding of the accounting and financial reporting processes
