**Mid UI/Visual Designer**

**The Global Creative Team** at **EF Education First **is looking for a **UI / Visual Designer** to join our Zurich-based team. In this role, you’ll be at the center of all things brand and find yourself at the intersection of the conception, design, and execution of creative campaigns; innovation of new and better ways to interact with our customers; and inspiring marketing and creative teams worldwide.

**About The Global Creative Team**

The Global Creative Team owns EF’s brand worldwide. Practically this means that we conceive, design and implement every conceivable medium and ensure it is deployed in every conceivable media all around the globe.

**The role**: UI / Visual Designer**

As a Mid-UI Designer at EF Global Creative Team, you'll be responsible for collecting and translating user insights into delightful experiences. Ultimately, you’ll create functional and visually appealing features that address our customers' needs. You will use your creativity and eye for design - along with your technical knowledge - you'll deliver UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs and final products. In this role, you'll have the privilege of being the voice of our customers. You are comfortable working independently and can take a concept from idea right through to execution, but also, as a part of the team, you are ready to jump in and make it all happen. You’re searching for new ways to do things and think outside the box to find intelligent, unique, better, and more innovative solutions to design problems. You’re following all-new design and UI trends. You’re excited about bringing stories to life that inspire everyone around you.

**Hard Skills**
- Experience with website and mobile app design.
- Working knowledge of responsive design and grid principles.
- Strong typography, layout and visual design skills.
- Working knowledge of the ideation and creation of UI design deliverables: Sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, lo-fi and hi-fi layouts, and prototypes.
- You know how to use tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Framer, and After Effects.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Develop standard UI components and style guides for our design system.
- Effectively communicate your designs to developers and other key stakeholders.
- Support the QA and Dev team to implement certain features as intended.
